Montgomery County, Maryland’s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)

As part of a multi-year contract, McAndrew provides DEP with strategic planning, creative development, radio and video production, traditional and digital marketing, social/digital media, and media planning/placement/analytics. Since 2020, McAndrew has created and produced a wide array of marketing communications materials including:

• Development, printing and mailing of several direct mail postcards educating residents about recycling, grasscycling, composting, and more.

• Development and printing of marketing materials including brochures, manuals and posters that educate the public about DEP’s programs.

• Development of all marketing materials and the implementation of a mass marketing campaign educating the public about the County’s law banning the use of single-use plastic straws.

• Development of all the marketing materials for a mass marketing campaign educating the public about the County’s law banning the use of #6 polystyrene plastics.
